Simple Hack (Download Files using Download Manager)

Have you try to click a download link and your download manager software catch it and save it as a html,php or etc? I been using this solution for a while and it works for me.

Softwares needed:

Firefox Browser
Getright, Flashget, etc.

The main purpose is to get the actual link of the file to be able to leech on it :).

On this sample I will use the hak5 video

Click the Xvid download Link and this window will pop up.
Save the File in a directory you like.

Once this window appear, right click on the window. And click on the properties.


Now the actual link of the file will be shown, copy this link and paste it on you favorite download manager.

Addition to my Techy Toy (Timex Mens Retrograde Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch T2M430)

As addition to my personal toys, I bought this Watch, the cost SR 483 .00. I happy with it, as my second watch.

My New DVD MultiDrive Writer (LG GSA-H42N)

After negotiation with the store, I manage to exchange my old DVD writer with this one, so far its working fine.

Package includes:

• DVD Writer
• Bundled CD (Nero) well its useless because Ia m using AShampoo Burning Studio 6.5
• User's Manual
• Ivory Bezel (to match the user's Casing)
  

I just notice that the burned Disc has different burned layer from the inner part of the disc. (Click the Photo to enlarge it)


I tried to burn a DVD in lower speed and the burn pattern seems to be ok. I haven't tried to burn a CD because according to some forum it produce a C2 error. Well I'm happy now with my new DVD writer, It can read Dual Layer Disc, Copy and burn DVD Movies. It Supports DVD+R/DVD-R/DVD+DL,DVD-DL,DVD-RAM.

Conclusion:
LG GSA-H42N Multi DVD Writer is a decent one to purchase. I haven't upgrade yet the firmware because as a computer enthusiast says "Do not fix when its not broken". Maybe later if it produce bad writing I will upgrade.

Fuck This DVD Writer! (LG GSA-2164D)

I have purchased this DVD writer 6 months ago and it is not working as it should be. The problem I encountered are:

1. Random Unreadable disk
2. Cannot burn DVD Randomly
3. After Burning a DVD it is unreadable
   
4. I almost lost 20 blank DVD by using Writer

Beware. Do not buy this shit.

Mac OS X86 Running on my Intel Desktop

Well this crack will not work now as the program has been revised. Well you can still use the chart components by searching "VBChart Torrent" on google. :) and download the file via torrent.

I'm planning to put a chart in my current project (Recruitment System 1.0) and tried different component which will fit to my needs and i came along with VBChart, and again I manage to "bypass" the security features of the installer which need a valid serial number. Want to know how I done it with a little help of Winrar.

1. Go to http://www.vbchart.net/
2. Click the download menu and select the full version on which version to use.
3. Fill the form with "dummy information".
4. Download 'VBChart10.exe' via HTTP or Click here to download directly
5. Once you finished downloading the file, do not install the by double clicking VBChart10.exe, because it will ask for a serial number.
6. Use open the file with Winrar to extract the file in a new folder.
7. Go to run and type "cmd" without quote.
8. Go to directory where the file was extracted.
9. Run H2Reg.exe -m -r and press enter this will register the help to the Visual Studio .Net 2002/2003 and 2005.
10. Well its ready to go, you have a working copy of the VBGraph

To easily add the VBChart controls yourself:

1. Open Visual Studio .NET (2002 - 2005 editions) and open or create a new project

2. Open a Design-view of a Form (Windows Form, or Web Form for Web Developer edition)

3. Open the Toolbox (if you don't see it, go to View menu -> Toolbox, or hotkey Ctrl-Alt-X)

4. Add a new Tab to toolbox

4.a. Right-click anywhere inside toolbox
4.b. Choose 'Add Tab'
4.c. Type in name 'VBChart Controls'

5. Add Controls into toolbox tab

5.a. Right-click inside new tab 'VBChart Controls'
5.b. Select 'Choose Items'
5.c. In the 'Choose Toolbox Items' dialog make sure the '.NET Framework Components' tab is selected (it's selected by default)
5.d. In the 'Choose Toolbox Items' dialog check-mark the following controls:

Recruitment System 1.0 Updates

After cracking aceview.dll, i have to redo the code in printing. Well it will going to take me one week to convert and optimize the code. But it will be better than the old ViewPro, which is an ocx made for VB6.

Added some additional features but bugs still hitting me. I will try to make this program bug free as the software matures.

In my current project Recruitment System 1.0, i needed Hexatech Aceview for document printing I managed to "crack" the dll by overwriting the message. Now I have a working copy of the dll. I used Hex Workshop to crack it.

If you want a copy of the Dll for your project just send me a message and i will give you a copy.

Recruitment System 1.0 now Live

After 7 months of development process, the new System for the department has been finally launched. There are some bugs but still, we manage to tweak the program. Bugs are being detected and minimized. The I think I have done a great program as compared to the Old RA5 which was developed using Visual Foxpro. Some icons have been added, graphics has been optimized. Still some features will be added soon, I just need some time to complete some modules.

Windows VISTA Hacked!!!!!

Tutorial (Dual Boot of Windows XP and Mandriva 2007)

After months of being busy, finally I made this tutorials.

Needed software

Windows XP CD
Mandriva 2007 DVD
Acronis Disk Director

40 Gig Hardisk
512 Memory
At Least 2.4 GHZ Intel Processor
DVD Drive

The juicy part

1. Install Windows XP first.
2. Install Acronis Disk Director. Include the OS Selector.
3. Open the Disk Director and make a 3 partition of 15(1)(primary)(NTFS),10.8(2)(primary)(format as FAT32),10.8(3)(Logical)(NTFS)
4. We will install Mandriva Linux on the second partition
5. Install the OS Selector
6. Reboot your PC.
7. Acronis OS Selector will detect all available Operating System on each Partition.

Install Mandriva Linux

1. Make sure that booting will start on CD ROM Drive.
2. Insert your Mandriva DVD Disc and it will boot on the DVD Drive.
3. Select the Install on the menu.
4. Select the DVD Drive As the installation source.
5. Select the Default language to be used.
6. Read the EULA and Agree on it :)
7. Select the second partition by clicking on it. Click Auto partition.
8. The Disk will be formatted.
9. Select the package you want to be installed.
10. Click the Install button and the installation process will start. Depending on the selected package the time of installation will finished.

11. Wait until the desktop shows and reboot the Linux Operating System

13. After rebooting, the Acronis OS Selector will detect all the available operating system. Select the Penguin if you want to boot from Linux.

Create your own Self Updating Software VB.Net (VS2005)

I have create this small application that resides on the system tray and check an update of the executable and replace the one they have on the client PC.

Remembering my First Encounter with Technology

I reminisce the days when...

1. Using a 5.25 floppy disk to boot a PC.
2. Looking at a monochrome monitor.
3. Afraid of dropping my floppy disk because it can get a computer virus.
4. Booting DOS, took 5 minutes.
5. Using an Intel Pentum Pro 166 PC
6. Using mouse for the first time.
7. Installing my first upgrade a 8mb EDO RAM for my PC
8. Using a computer with no hardrive, just 2 floppy drive, one for DOS and the other for application.
9. Typing my documents using Wordstar 4.0 and upgraded to wordperfect (now i can insert graphics).
10. Using Windows 3.1 for the first time.
11. Using windows 95 and watching the Blue screen of death.
12. Printing in Dot Matrix (Too noisy ) :)
13. Reinstalling windows 95 over and over.
14. Watching the drum being rattled in the installation of windows for over 30 mins.
15. Writing a Hello program in different programming language.
16. Rebooting my PC when an infinite loop happens in my program.
17. Being infected with CIH Virus that wipe out my entire hardisk.

Customize Plexiglass Mousepad

This is my first mods project.

What I used:
1 plexiglass 8x8.5 inch will do.
3 LED (Blue)
1 Resistor
20 inches wire
Masking Tape
Soldering tool
Dremel (for creating hole)

Steps

1. Cover the side area (about an inch) with masking tape.
2. Sand the center part and remove all the shiny part. (This is needed as Im using an optical mouse , this kind mouse will not work in a shiny surface.
3. Make 3 hole on the top of the plexiglass.
4. Insert the LED and connect all the LED in a series connection.
5. Connect the resistor by soldering.
6. Connect to the PSU using the black and yellow wire.
7. Finished.

With my last visit to the Philippines my brother gave me an Ipaq Pocket PC (H5550).
